Job Description:
High Voltage Low Voltage Charging Development Engineer is expected to support module testing (Plywood buck, vehicle, Dyno’s, Durability Fleet, HIL), Vehicle Retrofits/Flash programming, Cold/Hot Trip & EOL, dyno and mule development, While providing weekly updates on software status to DRE, Chief Engineering, and Power Electronics Management!
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for an ideal candidate who will participate in development of HV charging system SW and design specifications with supplier and will build test plans and procedures to Validation the system!
- Coordinating testing and validation of the charging systems SW to ensure compliance with spec & regulatory standards.
- Collaboration with multi-functional teams to integrate high voltage charging systems into electric vehicle programs.
- Developing and implementing software and hardware integration plans for high voltage charging systems.
- Ensuring components HW and SW compatibility and efficient performance.
- Documentation of design and testing results, and development of technical reports, lesson learned.
- Solving and resolution of issues related to hardware and software integration.
Required Skills:
- High Voltage (> 60V)
- 2 Years in automotive and in particular electrified powertrain system Product development
- Automotive High Voltage Charging Systems
- Safety & Diagnosis (DTC), XiL- (HIL, SIL)
- Computer Programming (C++, Python)
- Labview or equivalent automation bench testing
- High Voltage system bench and vehicle testing
