Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer II in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years related experience. Required skills: Design, develop and support high-quality software solutions using Java and J2EE technologies (3 yrs); Implement software applications using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology (2 yrs); Write SQL and Stored Procedures to manage and process information in databases (using Oracle, MySQL, SQL Developer and PostgreSQL database systems) (3 yrs); Utilize Jenkins and GitHub Actions as CI/CD tools to perform DevOps jobs (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) (3 yrs); Implement scalable and secure environment to support applications using cloud computing knowledge (1 yr). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 50% remote work is allowed.
